Inamuragasaki Ocean View to Enoshima

A rooftop over the Shonan coast

This webcam sits atop the west wing of 3rd House Inamuragasaki, a rental villa built to face the open Pacific. From its elevated rooftop terrace, the camera looks out over a broad, uninterrupted seascape that few ground-level vantage points along this coast can match.

Enoshima across the bay

The view stretches toward Enoshima, the tied island whose silhouette anchors the horizon across Sagami Bay. Between the villa and the water, the coastline curves gently, a shape that has made Inamuragasaki a favored lookout point for generations of local residents.

The Enoshima Electric Railway

In the foreground, the narrow Enoden line hugs the shore, its trains passing directly beneath the villa on their run between Kamakura and Fujisawa. The rail-and-sea juxtaposition is one of the most recognizable images of this stretch of the Kanagawa coast.
