Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf & Lover's Bridge

An Iconic Riverside Harbor

Perched on the right bank of the Tamsui River estuary, the Fisherman's Wharf is one of northern Taiwan's signature destinations. Once known as the Tamsui Second Fishing Port, it remains a working harbor where fishing vessels share the water with leisure ferries.

The Famous Lover's Bridge

The graceful white Lover's Bridge (情人橋) arcs across the marina as the wharf's defining landmark. Its single-pylon, cable-stayed design has become an emblem of the entire waterfront and a magnet for visitors.

A Living Floating Dock

Unlike traditional fixed piers, this floating dock rises and falls with the tide and can berth up to 150 fishing boats at once. The spectacular spread of moored vessels makes the harbor endlessly engaging to watch.
