A Living Heritage Streetscape

The south section of Sanxia Old Street preserves a remarkable row of early-20th-century arcade buildings, their red-brick columns and decorative pediments forming a continuous covered walkway. Each shopfront carries the family name or trade carved into its baroque-influenced facade.

Architecture & Atmosphere

This camera frames the pedestrian thoroughfare along Minquan Street, where stone-paved ground, hanging red lanterns and traditional signboards create an unmistakably classic Taiwanese townscape. The arcade's rhythmic arches recede toward the heart of the old district.

Local Crafts & Commerce

The street is renowned for its artisan workshops and specialty shops, including makers of the famous golden croissant pastries, hand-crafted goods and local snacks that draw visitors to this cultural landmark of New Taipei.
