A Center of Faith in Taoyuan
Founded in the late 1940s in a busy commercial district of Taoyuan City, Lianhua Temple grew from a modest neighborhood shrine into one of the city's most important centers of worship. Its incense lineage traces back to the renowned Zhulinshan Temple in Linkou, carried here so local devotees no longer had to travel far to honor Guanyin.
Inside the Main Hall
This live camera looks directly into the temple's central worship hall, where a gilded image of Guanyin presides over an intricately carved altar. Towering incense-coil lanterns and rows of votive lamps line the hall, their glow reflecting off polished red offering tables below.
A Living Sanctuary
Far from a static monument, Lianhua Temple remains an active place of devotion, where worshippers gather to light incense, make offerings, and pray before the central shrine. Small personal items left on the altar tables reflect the ongoing, everyday nature of practice here.
Digital Worship
The broadcast is part of a wider digital temple initiative that lets devotees who cannot visit in person still take part in the hall's rituals, extending Lianhua Temple's reach far beyond its physical doors.
