Everything you need to know about this live stream
A Living Heritage Street
Sanxia Old Street stretches for roughly 200 meters of red-brick shophouses whose Baroque-influenced facades were rebuilt in the 1910s during the Japanese colonial period. The continuous covered arcade is one of the best-preserved examples of its kind in Taiwan.
Shops, Crafts and Street Food
Behind the arches, family-run businesses sell traditional snacks, hand-crafted goods and the district's famous golden croissant-style pastries. The pedestrian lane draws day-trippers and photographers who come to admire the symmetrical archways and decorative gable carvings.
Sanxia District Setting
The street sits in Sanxia District of New Taipei City, near the historic Qingshui Zushi Temple and the confluence of the Sanxia and Dahan rivers. The surrounding old town blends religious landmarks with artisan workshops.
What You See on This Camera
This fixed live camera looks along the northern section of the street from south to north, framing the arcade columns, storefronts and passing pedestrians. It offers a continuous window onto one of northern Taiwan's most photogenic cultural lanes.
