Messilä spans the wooded ridges of the Salpausselkä formation in the municipality of Hollola, and is recognized as Southern Finland's largest ski resort, with ten runs, two terrain parks and nine lifts spread across the hillside below the lodge.

A View Over Lake Vesijärvi

Past the resort's tree line, the panorama opens onto Lake Vesijärvi, whose island-dotted waters stretch toward the horizon — a backdrop that makes the Kartano terrace one of the resort's favorite gathering spots.

A Base Area for Every Season

While winter turns the slope beneath the terrace into a groomed run for beginner skiers and sledders, the same hillside becomes an open meadow the rest of the year, with the chairlift standing quietly over grass and wildflowers.
