Messilä Kettu Ski Slope
OnlineA wide-angle camera perched atop a chairlift tower at Messilä Ski Resort looks straight down the Kettu slope, tracing the lift line across an open run toward the forested Salpausselkä ridge. Beyond the treeline, the view opens onto the glittering waters of Lake Vesijärvi, dotted with wooded islands and framed by the rolling lakeland countryside of Päijät-Häme. It is one of the most sweeping panoramas at Southern Finland's largest ski resort.

Everything you need to know about this live stream
The Kettu Slope
Named after the Finnish word for fox, the Kettu run descends from a lift tower vantage point through the heart of Messilä Ski Resort. A fisheye lens takes in the full sweep of the hillside, from the piste markers and lift cables in the foreground to the open meadow and treeline beyond.
A Lakeland Panorama
Past the resort's boreal forest boundary, the camera's wide field of view captures Lake Vesijärvi stretching toward the horizon, its shoreline broken by small wooded islands. The lake is one of the defining landscape features of the Päijät-Häme region, and this elevated angle gives an uncommonly broad view of it.
Southern Finland's Largest Ski Resort
Messilä is the biggest ski destination in Southern Finland, built on the wooded ridges of the Salpausselkä formation near Hollola. Alongside downhill and cross-country runs, the estate is known for its lakeland scenery, drawing visitors from the nearby Lahti region throughout the year.
