Messilä Karhu Ski Slope
OnlineThe Karhu slope at Messilä Ski Resort rises through a corridor of dense boreal forest, framed by the rolling Salpausselkä ridges of southern Finland. Lift towers and a groomed run trace the hillside down to the resort's base huts and rental kiosks. As the largest ski resort in southern Finland, Messilä draws visitors from the nearby Lahti region for downhill runs, snowboarding, and the surrounding lakeland forest trails.

Everything you need to know about this live stream
Southern Finland's Largest Ski Resort
Messilä Ski Resort sits in the Päijät-Häme region, a short drive from Lahti, and ranks as the largest ski area in southern Finland. Its slopes climb the wooded moraine ridges that define this stretch of the Salpausselkä formation.
The Karhu Run
This camera looks up the Karhu ("Bear") slope, a run served by its own lift line that threads between stands of tall pine and spruce. A small operator's hut and information board mark the base of the run, alongside equipment lockers for visiting skiers and snowboarders.
Salpausselkä Ridge and Lakeland
Messilä's terrain follows the Salpausselkä ridges, glacial formations that stretch across southern Finland and shelter a landscape of forested hills and lakes. The surrounding woodland is also threaded with trails used for hiking and cross-country routes.
Activities for Every Season
Beyond downhill skiing and snowboarding, Messilä hosts snowmobile safaris, a terrain park, and a wide range of family-friendly winter activities, while the same slopes and forest trails serve hikers and cyclists through the warmer summer months.
