Everything you need to know about this live stream
A Historic Single Chair
Mad River Glen opened the Single Chair on December 11, 1948, and it remains the only single-passenger chairlift still running in North America. In 2012 the lift line earned a spot on the National Register of Historic Places, cementing the mountain's reputation as skiing's living museum.
A Skier-Owned Mountain
Since 1995 Mad River Glen has been owned and run by the Mad River Glen Cooperative, formed when local skiers pooled resources to buy the resort from its previous owner โ making it the first skier-owned ski area in America and a fierce holdout of old-school, lift-served terrain.
The Mid-Station View
This solar-powered, fully articulating camera sits on the mid-station platform around 2,900 feet up General Stark Mountain, capturing the cable line, lift towers, and the wooded slopes that fall away toward the Mad River Valley.
