Jinzun Surf Break & Pacific Bay
OnlineThis live camera overlooks Jinzun, one of Taiwan's most celebrated surf breaks on the rugged Pacific east coast. Named for its distinctive wine-glass-shaped bay, the spot pairs a three-kilometre sweep of dark sand and pebbles with powerful, well-shaped swells that draw surfers from across the world. Forest-clad coastal mountains rise behind the breaking waves as they roll onto the shore.

Everything you need to know about this live stream
A World-Class Surf Spot
Jinzun is widely regarded as the premier surf destination in Taiwan. It has hosted the Taiwan Open of Surfing for more than a decade and has been graded a top-tier competition venue, even staging finals of the World Surf League. Its consistent, well-organised swells make it a magnet for both local and international surfers.
The Wine-Glass Bay
The name Jinzun comes from the bay's resemblance to an ancient wine cup, formed by a slender sand spit reaching toward a small offshore islet. A three-kilometre arc of beach curves along the coast, backed by dramatic cliffs and headlands that give the bay its sheltered, distinctive shape.
The East Coast Setting
Lying in Donghe Township on Taiwan's Pacific east coast, Jinzun sits where the Coastal Mountain Range meets the open ocean. The surrounding landscape of forested ridges and rural shoreline is part of one of the island's most scenic and least-developed coastal corridors.
What the Camera Shows
The view takes in the breaking waves, the curving shoreline and the paved waterfront walkway where spectators gather to watch the surf. On the horizon, the Pacific Ocean stretches toward distant headlands, offering a live window onto the rhythm of the sea.
