De Texelse is one of the few authentic links courses in the Netherlands, laid out directly among the natural dunes of Texel's northern tip near De Cocksdorp. The camera captures the fairways and greens flowing between sandy ridges and native vegetation, where the terrain itself, rather than artificial shaping, defines every hole.

The Dune Landscape

Beyond the manicured turf spreads a mosaic of marram grass, low scrub and protected dune habitat that gives the course its wild, elemental character. The flat, expansive horizon reaches toward the surrounding polders and the Wadden Sea, a UNESCO-listed tidal ecosystem that shapes the whole island.
