Everything you need to know about this live stream
The Transiberiana d'Italia Line
This vantage sits on one of Italy's most evocative mountain railways, the Sulmona–Isernia line nicknamed the Transiberiana d'Italia. Built through the high plateaus of the central Apennines, it is celebrated for its tunnels, viaducts and remote stations carved into rugged terrain.
The Casello 42 Gatehouse
The camera is mounted at trackside gatehouse number 42, close to the Palena station. From here the view follows the curving rails as they vanish into a classic stone tunnel mouth, a hallmark of this heritage route.
The Majella Landscape
Framing the tracks are the wooded ridges and open meadows of the Majella National Park, one of the wildest corners of Abruzzo. The high-altitude setting, above 1,200 metres, gives the scene its alpine, unspoiled character.
Watching for Heritage Trains
Beyond the everyday quiet of the line, the route is famous for its historic tourist trains hauled by vintage rolling stock. This live view lets rail enthusiasts and travellers watch for passing convoys against a backdrop of timeless Apennine scenery.
