The Rescued Bear Brothers
Benji and Balu are two brown bear brothers rescued from Azerbaijan and rehomed at the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary. The pair now share an expansive 3,500 m² habitat designed to let them express their natural behaviours in safety.
A Naturalistic Enclosure
The camera frames a flowing stream crossed by a rustic wooden footbridge, with grassy banks, mature trees and rocky outcrops giving the bears plenty of space to explore, dig and bathe.
Wildheart Animal Sanctuary
Set in Sandown on the Isle of Wight, this rescue-focused sanctuary cares for big cats, primates and bears that can no longer live in the wild, funding their lifelong care through visitors and donations.
What You Can Spot
Keep an eye on the stream and the look-out platform: you may catch the brothers wading through the water, foraging along the banks or simply lounging in their peaceful forever home.
