The Central Slope of Zao Onsen

This camera looks out over the main ski run of Zao Onsen, the heart of a resort that has drawn skiers to the Yamagata highlands for generations. The wide central piste feeds directly into the resort's lift and ropeway network, making it one of the busiest corridors on the mountain.

A Volcanic Mountain Setting
