A Wangye Shrine on the Yunlin Coast
Xucuo Fuxing Temple stands in Zhongxing Village, within Mailiao Township on Taiwan's low-lying western coastline. The temple honors Wu Fu Qiansui and the Three Lords (San Fu Qiansui), a group of Wangye โ deified guardian lords venerated across the coastal plains of southern and western Taiwan for protection and blessing.
Inside the Main Hall
The webcam frames the temple's richly carved central altar, flanked by dragon-columns and gilded lattice screens. Ceremonial vessels, potted plants and ancestral banners surround the shrine, where worshippers come to light incense and present offerings before the resident deities.
A Digital Shrine Hall
The stream is part of a digital culture preservation project that lets devotees who cannot visit in person still take part quietly in the temple's rituals, extending a village tradition of ancestor and deity veneration common along the Yunlin coast into a shared online space.
