A Signature Run at Solitude

Sunshine Bowl is one of the most recognizable runs at Solitude Mountain Resort, a wide, open bowl reached via the Eagle Express chairlift. Its broad, unintimidating pitch and generous width have made it a long-standing favorite among intermediate skiers and riders exploring Big Cottonwood Canyon.

Perched Above the Roundhouse

The camera is mounted above the main entrance of the Roundhouse, Solitude's Himalayan-inspired mountain hut. From this vantage the lens captures skiers and riders dropping into the bowl as they pass the lodge's timber-framed facade and patio seating.

Wasatch Mountain Scenery

Beyond the bowl itself, the view opens onto the surrounding peaks of the Wasatch Range, one of the snowiest mountain chains in North America. Mogul fields border the run's flanks, giving the terrain a textured, natural character that changes little from one visit to the next.
