A Heritage Tramway's Starting Point

This webcam overlooks the Riverside Depot of the Seaton Tramway, a narrow-gauge electric line that has carried generations of visitors along the Axe Valley in East Devon. The depot serves as the operational hub where vintage tram cars are stored, maintained and dispatched onto the line.

Trams, Tracks and Level Crossings

The gated level crossing in the foreground marks where the tramway meets Harbour Road, a scene repeated every time a tram departs for Colyton or returns to the depot yard. Overhead wires and platform signage frame a slice of British heritage rail still in daily operation.
