Colyford Station on the Seaton Tramway

This camera looks over Colyford Station, a request stop on the Seaton Tramway in East Devon. The narrow-gauge 2 ft 9 in (838 mm) track and overhead power lines visible in the frame carry small open-top and covered heritage trams between the coastal town of Seaton and the historic town of Colyton.

A Narrow-Gauge Journey Through the Axe Valley

The tramway follows a 3-mile (4.8 km) route along the Axe Valley, tracing the course of the River Axe between Seaton, the village of Colyford, and Colyton. Passengers travel through a landscape of water meadows and estuary views aboard replica and vintage tram cars.

Heritage on the Former Seaton Branch Line

The route runs over part of the former Seaton Branch Line, a mainline railway that closed in March 1966. Enthusiasts converted the trackbed into a narrow-gauge tramway, preserving a rail corridor through the valley and giving it new life as one of Devon's best-known heritage attractions.
