A Balcony over the Maritime Alps

Set in Via San Giovanni at 1,189 metres above sea level, this camera looks across the heart of the Vermenagna Valley, where Limone Piemonte nestles among the westernmost peaks of the Maritime Alps, close to the French border and a short reach from the Ligurian coast.

The Riserva Bianca Ski Domain

To the right of the view lies the Sole piste and the Severino Bottero gondola, which carries skiers into the Riserva Bianca, a domain of roughly 80 kilometres of runs. At the centre stands the celebrated black run Olimpionica, with Monte Alpetta framing the horizon.

An Alpine Forest in Every Frame

The surrounding slopes are cloaked in a rich alpine woodland of pines, larches, beeches, birches and cherry trees, a living backdrop that lends the scene its enduring character above the resort.
