Torrente Capriolo & Lago dei Noci
OnlineThis live camera looks out over the Lago dei Noci, a small reservoir gathered from the Torrente Capriolo as it threads through the wooded valley above Molini di Triora. The pale stony streambed, the steep forested slopes and a cluster of old stone houses frame a quintessential corner of inland western Liguria at 460 metres above sea level.

Everything you need to know about this live stream
The Noci Basin
The Lago dei Noci is a modest artificial basin fed by the Torrente Capriolo, shortly after it takes in the waters of the Rio Corte. The broad, boulder-strewn bed reveals how the mountain stream reshapes the valley floor.
Molini di Triora
Molini di Triora is a typical valley-bottom village in the province of Imperia, born at the confluence of the Argentina, Capriolo and Corte streams. Its name recalls the many mills that once ground chestnuts, cereals and olives.
Inland Western Liguria
Set at 460 metres in the Argentina valley, the village is a popular retreat surrounded by chestnut woods and terraced slopes, a gateway to the hamlets and trails of the Ligurian Alps.
A Living Landscape
The view captures the shifting course of the torrent, the stone architecture of the borgo and the dense green hillsides that define this corner of western Liguria.
