About This Webcam
Everything you need to know about this live stream
A Storied Alpine Training Ground
The Alpine Race course sits within the Alpine Meadows base area of Palisades Tahoe, one of the resort's original two mountains before its 2021 merger with Squaw Valley. Ski teams have trained on this dedicated slope for decades, carving giant-slalom and slalom lines beneath the surrounding peaks.
Terrain and Layout
The course descends through a glacial valley flanked by steep granite walls, a natural amphitheater that has hosted regional and national ski-racing competitions. Timing towers, gates, and grooming equipment mark the run as a working training facility rather than a casual beginner slope.
Part of the Palisades Tahoe Network
This feed is one of several Palisades Tahoe cameras spread across the resort, alongside views of High Camp, the Alpine Lodge base, and the Far East summit. Together they give racers, coaches, and visitors a live look at conditions across the mountain.
Lake Tahoe's High Sierra Setting
The camera sits in the heart of the Lake Tahoe basin, where the High Sierra's granite ridgelines and conifer forests frame every run. Palisades Tahoe is widely ranked among North America's top ski resorts, and this course is where much of its racing legacy is built.
