The Nahe-Skywalk is a steel viewing platform that juts boldly out from the hillside above Sankt Johannisberg, offering an unobstructed sweep of the surrounding landscape. From this elevated perch the camera takes in the full breadth of the Nahe valley, a defining feature of the region.

The Forested Hunsrück Landscape

Densely wooded ridges roll across the frame in layered waves of green, part of the Hunsrück uplands that shape this part of western Germany. Open meadows and farmland break up the forest on the valley floor, where a road threads its way along the river.
