Kincaid Lake Bald Eagle Nest Cam

A Bald Eagle Stronghold

The camera's primary subject is an active bald eagle nest, home to the resident pair Louis II and Anna II. Viewers can follow the pair as they tend the nest, defend their territory, and rear successive generations of eaglets high in the forest canopy.

Kincaid Lake & Recreation Area

Set within the Kincaid Recreation Area, the lens overlooks a calm, tree-lined reservoir popular for swimming, paddling, and fishing. A gentle sand beach and scattered shoreline canopies give the scene a relaxed, welcoming character.

Heart of Kisatchie National Forest

The cam sits inside Kisatchie National Forest, Louisiana's only national forest, a vast mosaic of longleaf pine, hardwood, and bald cypress. The surrounding woodland shelters herons, ospreys, turtles, and a rich cast of southern wildlife.

A Live PTZ Wildlife Window

Operated as a pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera, the feed alternates between close views of the nest and sweeping panoramas of the lake and forest, offering an ever-changing yet immersive look at this protected Louisiana landscape.
