A High Plains Reservoir

Fresno Reservoir is a broad impoundment on the Milk River, held back by an earthen dam northwest of Havre. Its irregular, island-studded shoreline spreads across the flat expanse of Montana's Hi-Line country, where water and sky seem to meet at the horizon.

Walleye Waters

The reservoir is famed as one of the state's premier walleye fisheries, alongside northern pike and perch. Boats trace the submerged points and bays that make it a magnet for anglers across the northern plains.
