The Montagu Championship Course
This camera frames the 18th green of the parkland-style Montagu, one of three championship layouts at Fancourt. The manicured putting surface, guarded by a sculpted greenside bunker and a glassy water hazard, is the dramatic close to a course routinely ranked among South Africa's finest.
A Garden Route Golf Estate
Set on the lush slopes outside George in the Western Cape, Fancourt blends landscaped fairways with ornamental lakes, mature trees and the gabled architecture of its Cape Dutch clubhouses, all backed by the rolling foothills of the Outeniqua mountains.
What to Watch
Follow golfers reading the contours of the finishing hole, spot waterfowl drifting across the still hazard, and take in the parkland setting that makes this one of the most photogenic closing holes on the South African coast.
