OnlineThis pan-tilt-zoom camera named "Diana's PTZ" sweeps the back exterior of the Raccoon Saloon, an abandoned rural homestead in the Maine countryside now claimed by a family of wild raccoons. A pair of hanging suet feeders and a wall-mounted feeding tray reached by a wooden ramp keep curious visitors circling the weathered siding and rough-hewn shed wall beyond.

A Wandering Eye on the Wildlife
Named after its operator, "Diana's PTZ" is a pan-tilt-zoom camera at the Raccoon Saloon, a former rural hunting camp in the Maine countryside that a colony of wild raccoons has claimed as their own. Unlike the property's many fixed cameras, this lens can sweep and zoom across the back of the building to follow the action wherever it happens.
Feeders and a Ramp
The view centers on the weathered siding at the rear of the Saloon, where a pair of hanging suet feeders draw songbirds and a wall-mounted metal tray โ reached by a sloped wooden ramp โ gives the resident raccoons an easy route up from the yard. A rough-hewn woodshed wall closes off the scene to the right.
Part of a Wider Network
This PTZ view is one of many cameras installed across the Raccoon Saloon grounds, each one watching a different room, door, or corner of the property. Together they let viewers follow the resident raccoons โ and the occasional bird or passing deer โ as they explore their unusual rural home.
