OnlineThis panoramic camera looks out from the Bergerie chairlift, high above the Plagne Villages and Plagne Soleil sectors of the vast La Plagne ski area. A High-Altitude Balcony over Paradiski
Perched at roughly 2,180 metres, the Bergerie chairlift is one of the key lifts linking the villages of La Plagne, a resort woven into the vast Paradiski ski domain. The camera surveys the open slopes between Plagne Centre and Plagne Bellecรดte, where wide pistes and grassy summer trails share the same terrain.
Chalets, Lifts and Alpine Pastures
Timber-and-stone chalet rooftops cluster below the lift line, while a network of groomed hiking and mountain-biking trails crisscrosses the open pastures. The chairlift itself, visible cresting the ridge, keeps running through summer to carry walkers and cyclists up to the high balconies of the resort.
The Tarentaise Skyline
Beyond the village rooftops, the view opens onto the jagged summits of the Tarentaise Valley, part of the same range that links La Plagne to neighbouring Les Arcs via the Vanoise Express cable car. The layered ridgelines fade toward the horizon, framing one of the largest linked ski areas in the world.
