La Rosière Alpine Panorama
OnlinePerched high above the Tarentaise Valley, this alpine panorama looks out from the Le Montana district of La Rosière, a mountain village built in a traditional stone-and-timber style. Rolling alpine pastures stretch toward a jagged skyline straddling the French-Italian border, with chalet rooftops and quiet resort lanes framing the foreground.

Everything you need to know about this live stream
A Village on the Border
La Rosière sits on a broad, south-facing balcony of the Tarentaise Valley in Savoie, just below the historic Col du Petit-Saint-Bernard pass into Italy. The village's chalets and hotels are arranged in tiers along the open slope, giving nearly every building an unobstructed view across the valley to the peaks beyond.
The Le Montana Outlook
This camera looks out from the Le Montana quarter, taking in the resort's wooden chalets, stone-clad buildings, and the winding lane that connects them. The open, grassy terrain visible in the foreground doubles as ski piste in winter and alpine meadow the rest of the year.
The Vanoise and Beyond
Beyond the rooftops, a wide arc of the Graian Alps fills the horizon, their rugged, glacier-carved ridgelines forming the natural border between France and Italy. The scale of the panorama makes the surrounding peaks feel close despite the resort's own elevation above 1,800 meters.
Espace San Bernardo
La Rosière is one half of the cross-border Espace San Bernardo ski area, linked by lift to La Thuile on the Italian side of the pass. The resort's blend of traditional Savoyard architecture and big-mountain terrain has made it a longstanding fixture of the Tarentaise's alpine tourism.
