Zhixuan Temple Main Hall

A Taoist Sanctuary in Keelung

Zhixuan Temple, also known as Xiangong Temple, has stood in the hills above Keelung for roughly eight decades. Its patron deity is Ning Yang Dijun, worshipped locally as an incarnation of the immortal Li Tieguai, one of the Eight Immortals of Taoist tradition.

Inside the Main Hall

The webcam frames the temple's central altar, richly decorated with carved woodwork, lanterns, and ceremonial vessels. Worshippers can be seen approaching to light incense and offer prayers before the shrine.

A Living Digital Offering

The stream is part of a digital heritage initiative that lets devotees who cannot visit in person still take part in the temple's rituals. On the first and fifteenth lunar days, the hall opens for community blessing ceremonies.
