Everything you need to know about this live stream
The White-tailed Eagle
The White-tailed Eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) is Europe's largest bird of prey, with a wingspan approaching two and a half metres. Its broad, plank-like wings and short, wedge-shaped white tail make it unmistakable as it patrols the forest and nearby waters for fish and waterfowl.
The Eyrie
This enormous stick nest is a multi-year structure, added to season after season until it becomes one of the heaviest nests of any European bird. Anchored in the crown of a sturdy pine, it offers an intimate view of incubation, feeding and the gradual growth of the eaglets.
Bory Tucholskie
Stretching across the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region, Bory Tucholskie is one of the largest continuous pine forests in Central Europe. Its mosaic of woodland, lakes and rivers provides the undisturbed habitat and abundant prey that apex raptors require.
Watching the Cam
The camera delivers a close, stable view of the nest and its surroundings, letting viewers follow the eagles' behaviour in remarkable detail. It is a rare window into the private life of a protected and once-endangered species.
