The Vidden Plateau
Vidden is the broad, treeless upland that links Bergen's two most famous city mountains. The camera frames a characterful spine of bare granite-gneiss outcrops rising from rolling alpine heath, a landscape shaped by ancient glaciers and constant maritime winds.
A Classic Mountain Crossing
This high ground carries one of Norway's most popular hiking routes, the traverse between Ulriken and Fløyen. Walkers cross open moorland dotted with glacial tarns and lichen-covered boulders, with the dramatic fjord country falling away on either side.
