A Sanctuary Pasture in the Bluegrass

This live feed overlooks a fenced paddock at the Kentucky Equine Adoption Center (KYEAC), a nonprofit rescue and rehabilitation ranch in central Kentucky's renowned bluegrass horse country. A simple metal run-in shed offers shelter at the edge of the open grass paddock, bordered by mature trees and a classic wooden plank fence.

Meet Vicki and Angel

Vicki, a gray Warmblood mare, and Angel, a Spotted Appaloosa cross, arrived at the center together after being rescued from a case of neglect. Vicki is currently in foal, and both mares share this quiet pasture as they recover under the center's care, forming a bond built on trust.

Kentucky Equine Adoption Center's Mission

KYEAC rehabilitates at-risk and abandoned horses, preparing them for adoption into loving homes. The center's open pastures and paddocks give every rescued horse room to graze, socialize, and heal in a calm rural setting.
