The port of Trouville-sur-Mer is one of the most authentic and animated harbours of the English Channel. Set on the Norman coast facing the resort town of Deauville, it blends centuries of maritime tradition with a thriving tourist scene along its colourful quays.

The Touques Estuary

The camera frames the Touques estuary, whose broad tidal channel shapes the daily rhythm of the harbour. The iconic Grande Roue ferris wheel and the rows of pastel quayside houses form an unmistakable Norman skyline above the water.

Fishing Fleet & Marina

Around twenty professional fishing boats are based here, landing sole, sea bass, mackerel, scallops and grey shrimp. Alongside them, the well-equipped marina offers some 700 berths for sailing yachts and pleasure craft shared between Trouville and Deauville.

Waterfront Heritage

The quays are lined with typical restaurants and a celebrated fish market, while the mobile Pont des Belges lifts to let boats pass. The result is a harmonious balance of working port, gastronomy and picturesque Norman charm.
