The Three Peaks of Lavaredo
This live camera captures the unmistakable silhouette of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Drei Zinnen) — three vertical limestone towers that rank among the most famous summits in the entire Alps. Rising to nearly 3,000 metres, mighty Cima Grande, Cima Ovest and Cima Piccola dominate the horizon, their sheer north faces a magnet for climbers from around the world.
A UNESCO World Heritage Landscape
The peaks sit within the Dolomites, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List for their dramatic geology and pale, sculpted rock. Straddling the border between Veneto's Province of Belluno and South Tyrol, the area is protected as the pristine Tre Cime Natural Park, where alpine meadows give way to scree slopes and vertical walls.
What You Can See
The stream reveals the commanding north faces of the three towers, with snow-streaked slopes, scree fields and shifting alpine cloud. In clear conditions the peaks stand out crisply against the sky, while passing weather can wrap them in swirling mist within minutes.
A Year-Round Destination
Reached from Auronzo di Cadore via the famous winding Rifugio Auronzo road, the Tre Cime draw hikers in summer along the classic loop trail and snowshoers and ski-tourers in winter. This view offers a front-row seat to the Dolomites in every season, without leaving home.
