A Championship Desert Layout

TPC Danzante Bay is an 18-hole championship course designed by Rees Jones, carved along the rugged coastline where the Sonoran Desert meets the Sea of Cortez. The par-72 layout is known for its dramatic elevation changes and a cliffside green perched above the water.

Sierra de la Giganta Backdrop

The course sits at the foot of the Sierra de la Giganta, a mountain range that frames every hole with its jagged volcanic peaks. Desert vegetation, granite outcrops, and native cacti line the fairways, blending manicured turf with the untamed landscape of Baja California Sur.

Villa del Palmar Resort

The golf course anchors the Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto resort, whose Spanish-colonial architecture and terracotta rooftops are visible beyond the fairways. The property overlooks Danzante Bay and the protected waters of the Loreto Bay National Marine Park.

A Golf Destination of Note

Since opening in 2018, TPC Danzante Bay has drawn golfers from around the world and hosts the annual Danzante Bay Invitational. Its blend of ocean, desert, and mountain scenery has earned the course a reputation as one of Mexico's most dramatic golf settings.
