Top of Crest Lift
OnlinePerched at the top of the Crest chairlift in the Wasatch Mountains, this camera surveys a rugged high-alpine ridge ringed by dense evergreen forest. The lift station and its panoramic slopes anchor a scene that shifts dramatically between the deep powder of the ski season and the exposed, sun-baked terrain of the warmer months.

A Summit Vantage in the Wasatch
This camera looks out from the upper terminal of the Crest Express chairlift at Brighton Resort, one of the highest lift-served points in Big Cottonwood Canyon. The elevated position frames the ridgeline, the surrounding bowls, and the steep pitches that make this corner of the Wasatch a magnet for skiers and riders.
Alpine Forest and Open Terrain
Tall subalpine firs and Engelmann spruce crowd the slopes below the lift, giving way to open meadow and rock as the elevation climbs. The mix of timber and exposed alpine ground offers a constantly evolving portrait of a genuine high-mountain landscape.
A Four-Season Mountain
Famous for its abundant snowfall in the cold months, Brighton transforms in the warmer season into a base for hiking and mountain biking. The camera captures both faces of the mountain โ the celebrated ski terrain and the green, trail-laced high country that follows the melt.
