A Busy Corner of the Tilbury Loop
This camera looks along the Tilbury Loop, a four-track railway corridor roughly three-quarters of a mile south of Barking station in East London. The line is one of the busiest freight arteries in the capital, carrying intermodal and aggregate services to and from the docks and yards further east throughout the day.
London Overground to Barking Riverside
Alongside the freight traffic, London Overground trains run a ten-minute interval service to and from Barking Riverside, threading between the goods lines on their way toward central London.
c2c on the Fenchurch Street Route
c2c services also pass this stretch, linking Fenchurch Street and Grays, with a number of workings extended further out along the Essex coast.
