Epping station is the easternmost stop on the London Underground's Central Line, marking the point where the network meets the rolling countryside of rural Essex. The feed is maintained by the Epping Signal Cabin Museum, a volunteer-run heritage site preserving the original lever frame and signalling equipment that once controlled traffic through the station. The museum's star exhibit, Locomotive L11, stands as a tribute to the line's steam-era past.
