The Upper Engadine Valley

At the heart of the view lies Lake St. Moritz, its mineral-rich turquoise water a signature of the valley. The lake is part of a linked system that includes the neighbouring Silvaplana and Sils lakes, a magnet for sailing, windsurfing and lakeside walks.

Below the peaks sits the village of St. Moritz, a byword for alpine luxury and host to two Winter Olympic Games. The elevated Suvretta House perspective takes in the town, its hillside hotels and the meadows and forests that ring the valley.

Ringing the horizon are the Engadine summits, including peaks of the Bernina range to the south. Their rugged ridgelines and high snowfields form a dramatic amphitheatre around the valley, framing every view of this iconic corner of the Swiss Alps.
