The High Altar and Sanctuary
The camera frames the presbytery of the church, where a stepped marble platform leads up to the high altar and a gilded tabernacle marked with the IHS monogram. A standing crucifix, paired candelabra and a foreground floral display give the chancel its devotional focus.
Stained Glass and Architecture
Tall stained-glass windows rise on either side of the sanctuary, while a row of slender pointed arches and plastered pillars define the nave. Niche-set statues of saints, including a figure of Our Lady of Fรกtima, stand at the front of the side aisles.
