The Sanctuary

The camera is fixed on the presbytery and main altar of the church, where a freestanding altar table stands before a tall wooden crucifix. The deep red-brick walls and clean modern lines give the space a distinctly contemporary Silesian character.

Devotional Details

To either side stand statues of revered saints and a small tabernacle, while bouquets of flowers add colour to the stone floor. An ambo for readings and rows of simple wooden pews complete the worship space.

The Parish

Corpus Christi (Boże Ciało) parish serves the Kończyce district of Zabrze, one of the cities of the Upper Silesian conurbation. The feed lets distant parishioners and visitors share in the quiet life of the church.
