The Base Village

The heart of Winter Park Resort gathers around a spacious base plaza framed by a large timber-and-stone lodge. Skiers, hikers and visitors move between the lodge, the ticketing area and the surrounding shops and eateries that define the resort's welcoming alpine village.

Lifts and Mountain Terrain

To the right, a chairlift rises along a cleared corridor through the pines, carrying guests up toward the Continental Divide high above. Winter Park is one of the longest continually operating ski resorts in the United States, with terrain that ranges from gentle beginner runs to steep expert bowls.

A Year-Round Playground

The foreground reveals a landscaped mini-golf course and open lawns that transform the base into a lively hub for warm-season recreation. Mountain biking, hiking and lift-served sightseeing draw visitors to this high-country retreat beyond the snow season.
