A Window into Silver Springs

This PTZ camera overlooks the headwaters of the Silver River, the heart of Silver Springs State Park. Fed by one of the largest artesian spring systems on Earth, the spring discharges hundreds of millions of gallons of remarkably clear water each day, creating an ideal natural aquarium for observation.

Manatees & Resident Wildlife

The springs are a vital refuge for the West Indian manatee, a slow-moving aquatic mammal drawn to the constant water temperature. Alongside the manatees, viewers regularly spot alligators, gar and bass, soft-shell turtles, herons and anhingas in an ever-changing tableau of life.

A Storied Florida Landmark

Silver Springs has drawn visitors for well over a century, famed for its glass-bottom boats that first revealed the underwater world to the public. Today the state park protects this fragile spring ecosystem while letting the world watch its wildlife in real time.
