A Fairway Among the Fells

This camera surveys the open landscape of Salten Golf Club, the northernmost reaches of organized golf in Norway. The manicured fairway stretches toward distant forested ridges, with mown greens and natural rough blending into the surrounding boreal terrain.

Clubhouse and Terrace

In the foreground, the wooden clubhouse deck is set with café tables and chairs, a gathering point for players and visitors. A slatted timber railing edges the terrace, opening directly onto the first stretches of the course below.

Arctic Highland Setting

Surrounding the course, stands of tall pines and steep wooded mountainsides rise on either flank, while a flat-topped fell anchors the horizon. The valley setting gives the course a sheltered, secluded character typical of golf at this latitude.

Golf Above the Circle

Located in Bodø, the course is one of the few in the world this far north, where the long polar summer allows play through extended hours of daylight. The webcam captures the rhythm of a working course set within a dramatic sub-Arctic landscape.
