A family-friendly ski station

Rusiń-Ski is one of the best-known ski areas of Bukowina Tatrzańska, set on the northern and eastern slopes of Wierch Rusiński. Its gentle, groomed pistes are aimed above all at families and beginners, served by a chairlift, surface lifts and a separate learning area, and the station is part of the regional Tatry Super Ski pass.

What the camera shows

This fixed view watches the lower part of the station, where a paved walkway, a small service booth and railed steps lead to the beginner slope. The long track of a conveyor lift climbs the hillside diagonally, carrying first-time skiers up the gentle learning run whenever the slope is snow-covered.

Views across Podhale

Beyond the slope the panorama stretches over the rolling hills of Podhale, with the houses of neighbouring villages spread across green pastures, belts of mixed forest and layered ridges fading toward the horizon. It is the classic landscape of the Góral highlands at the foot of the Tatra Mountains.

A short drive from Zakopane, Bukowina Tatrzańska is known for its traditional wooden architecture, its thermal baths and its mountain trails, which make Rusiń-Ski a convenient base for winter sports as well as hiking in the warmer months.
