A Forever Home for Rescued Toucans

This camera looks into a spacious aviary at the Toucan Rescue Ranch, where keel-billed and chestnut-mandibled toucans live as permanent residents. Many arrived through the illegal pet trade, traffic incidents, or habitat loss and cannot safely return to the wild.

Inside the Enclosure

A corrugated feeding shelter sits at the center of the netted enclosure, framed by broad-leaved plants, bromeliads, and climbing vines. The protective mesh and surrounding rainforest canopy create a naturalistic habitat for the birds to perch, feed, and explore.
