Gateway to Portes du Soleil
The Ranfoilly chairlift is one of the principal departure points from the resort of Les Gets into the Portes du Soleil, one of the largest linked ski areas in the world, straddling the French-Swiss border.
The Base Station
Traditional timber-clad buildings and a covered lift terminal frame the loading area, where cable towers rise up the open slope toward the ridge above. Rustic Savoyard architecture blends with the practical infrastructure of a working mountain lift.
Open Alpine Terrain
