Everything you need to know about this live stream
A Hidden Cove on Penghu's South Coast
Along the South Ring Road near Fenggui, Qingwan Bay is one of Penghu's lesser-visited shores โ a short stretch of sand built from coral remains, shell fragments, and fine quartz grains. Low basalt cliffs enclose the cove, keeping it sheltered and comparatively quiet even in the busy summer season.
A Live Window for Marine Safety
The feed is run by Taiwan's National Academy of Marine Research under its GoOcean program, which streams real-time sea-state footage from coves and beaches across the country. The camera helps swimmers, snorkelers, and divers gauge conditions before entering the water.
Gateway to the Fenggui Peninsula
From the beach, views stretch toward the Fenggui Peninsula and the outlying islands of Hujing and Tongpan across the channel. The surrounding reef and rocky shallows make Qingwan a quietly popular spot for shore-based snorkeling.
