The Niseko Hanazono base area
This camera overlooks the heart of Niseko Hanazono Resort, the easternmost of the four interconnected ski areas that make up Niseko United on the island of Hokkaido. In the foreground sit the resort's contemporary base buildings, an open plaza dotted with lounge chairs and the lower lift stations that carry skiers and riders up the mountain.
Slopes and lifts
Above the base, broad open runs sweep up the flank of Mount Niseko Annupuri, served by the Symphony Gondola and a network of chairlifts and a covered carpet lift. The terrain is renowned worldwide for its deep, light powder, drawing skiers and snowboarders from across Asia and beyond.
A four-season mountain destination
Beyond the winter season, the resort becomes a green playground for hiking, mountain biking, golf and gondola sightseeing. The surrounding Niseko region is equally known for its hot springs, farm-to-table dining and views toward the conical peak of Mount Yotei.
