Nakai Bay Oyster Farm & Inlet

A sheltered oyster-farming bay on the Noto Peninsula

This camera looks out over Nakai Bay in the Nakai district of Anamizu, a deeply indented inlet of the Noto Peninsula where the calm water is threaded with the floating rafts and lines of a working oyster farm. The surrounding forested ridges shelter the bay and give it its mirror-still surface.
